Completed Customer Project: Upgrading Zipper Machines for Military Supplies with New Process Technology

A long-standing local client, a leading supplier of zippers for China's military supplies, recently secured an order for over one million zippers, with a tight delivery schedule. However, due to insufficient production capacity with their existing zipper equipment, they faced the risk of missing the deadline. Committed to achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement goals, the client decided to upgrade six idle zipper machines through our services to meet the capacity demands.

The zipper production process required inserting the slider first, followed by applying reinforcement tape to both ends-eliminating the need for top and bottom stoppers. Considering that the sliders were already attached to the zippers, our engineering team designed a complete slider-detection mechanism within a single day. Integrated with the existing machine structure, this solution offered the shortest possible downtime for the upgrade.

After one week of implementation, we successfully delivered the upgraded machines to the client, and they were immediately put into production.
